Latin Quarters, Los Angeles
1345 N Vermont, Los Angeles
As we pulled up to the club you couldn’t help but notice the flags from the different Latin Nations. They were lined along the side of the club, United Nations style. Tonight Latinos from all over were united by the spirit of Hip-Hop and having a good time. The event was titled “Latin Quarters” this was definitely a place where Latinos were a force to be reckoned with. The hosts of the night were two of the pioneers of Latin Hip-Hop Prince Whipper Whip and the porno-rican himself Son Doobie from Funkdoobiest.

This event was a bi-coastal event, drawing artists from both New York and the City of Angeles. There wasn’t any East/West animosity like in years past. 2ND State from Los Angeles and The Beatnuts from New York put on a hella of a show.

Thanks to the Fithlee Immigrants camp for throwing a dope event and all the local Hip-Hop crews that showed their support.

The crowd was packed beyond belief    Latin Quarters, Los Angeles
